learning curves

Had another go with the acrylics this weekend. Using mostly flat brushes and trying out some glazing, building up layers of paint. acrylics have alot more transparency than i expected…i’m finding i need 2 or 3 applications to cover certain passages…it’s a learning curve… but a fun one.

About Sally Chupick

The way light falls on form, that's what interests me. It effects not only what we see but how we feel about things. The challenge is finding a harmony in the complexity of it; mixing what I see and what I want to see to create my paintings. I work in oils and in watercolours.

Super painting. Just beautiful. If you get the heavier acrylics, (heavy body)
they cover very well. But part of what’s great about them is the potential
for layers of colour bumping up the total result. You are great in
    any medium.

    XO Barbara
