I liked this quote I read recently. It kind of resonated with me while working on this piece today. I’m finding my way as I go, and having a good time in the process.

I felt like a voyeur getting to look at your wonderful studio, Sally! The paintings have a beautiful birthing room, for sure. Thank you for your comment about not over-refining the new portrait. I like the fresh, painterly look, myself. Not all clients like it, though, so I’ll have to feel them out. Your cyclamen (sp?) painting is so happy. I hope we get to see the finish. Stay warm!
