Coffee Bar In Italy - watercolour 30″ x 11″
I thought of posting a watercolour from my archives as have been busy doing everything this week but painting! I’ve had 2 of my daughters home, and I’ve been working quite a bit this week as well. I went for my first reiki experience yesterday. I found it very peaceful. Today the weather was so promising with spring temperatures and sunshine. I listened to a redwing blackbird singing his heart out in the field next to my house. Glorious.

Colour of Havana - watercolour 11″ x 16″
I’ve been working on some watercolours of Cuba again.
In the old city of Havana, ladies with colourful dresses sache’ around amongst the tourists which lends the feeling of how it might have been in a bygone era when pirates roamed the seas, and sailed into the harbour at Habana.

Hollyhocks - oil on canvas 36″ x 24″
This is one of the paintings that I sold recently at the gardening festival. I thought I’d post it to celebrate. I also sold a winter painting, but it is way too close to spring to post a winter painting. Yuck, I am sick of winter. The forecast is for some more snow on Friday. Hope they get the forecast wrong.

Cow Friends - oil on canvas 28″ x 24″
Just got back from the Gardening Festival, where I had some paintings on display. It was okay, but I really dont like sitting at shows or festivals…it’s boring, too much wasted time.
I now have a huge pile of paintings that need putting away…all of which will take time out of what I love to do best, PAINT!
